And in remembrance of this important day, here are some cherry blossoms from the tree outside our house to cheer everyone up.
The naked trees are beginning to dress themselves up in blooms to await the arrival of spring. The mountains are still green and sunlight so cheerful. We just laid eyes on a very picturesque view coming down from the square where Albertson's is located near our house. The sun was shining on large sections of the rolling foothills so the grassy slopes looked absolutely fresh and bright while the rest of the undulating hillsides to the left and right were slightly shaded. The whole scene could have come from a painting - it was that beautiful. I wish I had brought my camera.
